Environment and Communications Legislation Committee – Senate Estimates
Senator Hollie Hughes has spoken with several departments during various Senate Estimates sessions but was unable to get a clear answer on who was responsible for which elements of Offshore Wind policy. The obfuscation speaks to a failure in transparency and of a complexity that makes it impossible for departmental staff to know what their remit is, which means there is no chance that Australians can possibly understand what is being done.
