National Disability Insurance Scheme Inquiry
Senator Hollie Hughes has grilled bureaucrats during an inquiry into the NDIA over the Albanese government’s “socialism-by-stealth” policy known as “Same Job, Same Pay”. The policy will see people in the same roles regardless of if they have years of experience or are new to the job being paid exactly the same. In the disability space, this will likely mean Australians who are disabled will find it increasingly difficult to find work when businesses are forced to pay the same as someone able-bodied.
